44 |
 |
A big imposing keeper still going strong at the ripe old age of 44, Roly was converted
from centre back after migrating from Rugby many years ago. One
of the longest serving players with 400 appearances to his name,
he is also a dedicated clubman off the pitch.
|
Nick Wells |
| Position: Goalkeeper |

| |
Returning to the club on a regular basis this season, Nick is a great shot stopper who has been sharing the keeper's jersey with Roly as Boo Boo alternates his two goalies.
|
John
Wood |
| Position: Defender |

John is a model 'pro' who has previously played a very good standard
of football. An invaluable member of the team as he uses
all his experience to marshall and organise the side.
|
Darren
Noonan |

'Keown' is a strong, brave centre-half who can

he is a good tackler and was formerly Reserve Player of the Year.
|
| Gary
Langton |
|

A no-nonsense left back (as with Stuart

he can, he has made just the odd cameo appearance this campaign. |
| Danny
Poulter |

'Bernie' is a hard-worker most comfortable
in midfield but with the ability to play at the back too. The 'B'
team Player of the Year in 2000, he has also won 'A' team Player
of the Year twice and Young Player of the Year in 2001. Has the
honour of being the only Ruts captain to lift a Surrey Cup. |
| Nigel
Watford |
|
Position: Defender/Midfielder/Striker |
Age:
33 |
 |
With almost 500 games for the club Nigel

of Fame chart. Although his favourite position is centre midfield,
'The Silent Assassin' is very versatile and can play either up front
or centre back. |
Erol
Yilmaz |
| Position: Midfielder/Striker |
Age:
35 |
 |
A former 'A' team Player of the Year, Erol led the team to the
Surrey Lower Junior Cup in 2005 as Player Manager, the only Surrey Cup the club has

same year and is a good target man, although injury has restricted his appearances this term. |
| Paul
Beaumont |
|
Position: Midfielder |
Age:
35 |
 |
A very fit, unselfish player who does a lot of work for the team,
he is nicknamed Forrest Gump as he never stops running. A strong tackler and committed player, Paul regularly featured in the Firsts and Reserves in his younger days.
|

|
Rowan Matthews |
| Position: Midfield/Striker |
Age: 18 |
| |
A
quick player with a rasping shot, Rowan is one of the emerging crop of youth players but hasn't featured much this season, although he has impressed when he's played.
|
Lewis Kelly |
| Position: Midfield/Striker |
Age: 18 |
| |
Lewis bagged 34 goals in 41 youth team games and has shown great promise in his first season in men's football. A quick and tricky player who knows where the goal is, Lewis can play out wide or up front and is a great prospect.
